E-PROTEIN IS A HYPOALLERGENIC AND EASILY DIGESTIBLE PROTEIN OBTAINED FROM THE BLACK SOLDIER FLY LARVAE

ITS ADVANTAGES

Due to its special structure and novel nature, the black soldier fly protein we use does not cause allergies in pets

CHITIN AND CHITOSAN

Prebiotics support intestinal health

LAURIC ACID

Suppresses the development of pathogenic bacteria and reduces inflammation

melanin

Strengthens the immune system and protects against stress

All these properties of entoprotein contribute to the health, longevity and well-being of your pet

Quantity of protein per 100 g

BSF CONCENTRATE CONTAINS TWICE AS MUCH PROTEIN AS BEEF, CHICKEN, OR FISH.

Entoprotein is an animal protein of animal origin,

but more concentrated than meat. Its nutritional value is higher than that of conventional protein sources.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PROTEIN

One ton of insects can be grown in only 2 weeks using a 20 m2 plot of land. Antibiotics and hormones are not used in the production of entoprotein. In addition, the entofarm produces 96% less carbon than traditional livestock farming

Eco-friendly production

High digestibility

No antibiotics

Environmental benefits in the production of 1 kg of E-protein

10x less land

24x less CO2

2x less water

WHAT
IS E-PROTEIN

Entoprotein is produced from black soldier fly larvae, which we grow on our farms.

The larvae feed on surplus food from retail stores and deliveries. This prevents food waste and upcycles it into valuable protein. Thus, our production is eco-friendly right from the start.

After 10–15 days of cultivation, the larvae are dried and pressed to remove the fat, yielding the final E-protein concentrate.

FAQ
What Is E-Protein?

E-protein is a shortened term for entomoprotein — high-quality protein derived from black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens). It is rich in nutrients, hypoallergenic, eco-friendly, and highly digestible. Often called a "protein of the future," it is especially beneficial for pets with sensitive digestion.

Which insects do we use in our recipes?

Our recipes are based on BSF protein concentrate produced in our own facilities. Black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens) are a unique insect species whose larvae efficiently recycle organic by-products. After the growth cycle is complete, the larvae are harvested and converted into high-quality protein and valuable lipids.

How do we produce insect protein?

We breed black soldier fly larvae on our farms, feeding them organic by-products such as spent grain. After 10–15 days of cultivation, the larvae are dried in specialized thermal dryers and processed into high-quality insect protein. For more details, explore our production process here
